Abstract
The asymmetry of the lateral distribution of EAS particles in the energy range of KASCADE-Grande was studied by analyzing simulated inclined showers. Three projection methods were used to obtain the particle density in the intrinsic shower plane. A practical correction method for restoring the symmetry was proposed.
