Abstract

Hard processes in p–A collisions at high energies with MC (Monte Carlo) generator HARDPING (HARD Probe IN-teraction Generator) are discussed. Such effects as energy loss and multiple rescattering initial and produced hadrons and their constituents are implemented into the HARDPING. It provides a reasonably good description of hadron production in p–A collisions at 400 GeV (Cronin effect). Predictions by the HARPING 3.0 for lepton pairs production in p–A at proton beam energy 120 GeV ( ) at Fermilab Tevatron Booster and at CERN LHC are presented.
