Abstract
A precise determination of |Vub/Vcb| is crucial for constraining the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mechanism, i.e., the theory of CP violation in the Standard Model, and for searching for new CP violating phases from new, heavy particles. In this article, we review the status of the determination of the CKM magnitudes |Vcb| and |Vub| from inclusive and exclusive semileptonic B decays at the B factory experiments Belle and BaBar.
