Abstract
Making full use of a high-statistical data sample of τ decays recorded in the KEKB-Belle experiment, we have largely improved the precision of the branching fraction B(τ−→K∗0(892)K−ντ)=(1.56±0.02±0.09)×10−3, and measured the mass and width of K∗0(892) meson to be (895.10±0.27±0.31) MeV/c2 and (47.23±0.49±0.79) MeV, respectively, with better or similar accuracy of the PDG world average values. The first measurement of τ−→K∗0(892)K−π0ντ decay is also accomplished and B(τ−→K∗0(892)K−π0ντ)=(2.39±0.46±0.26)×10−5 is obtained. (All results presented here are preliminary.)
