Abstract

D0 and CDF currently are the two largest experiments operating at Tevatron proton-antiproton collider at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 GeV. Approximately 2.5 fb−1 of data resulting in 3 billion events per experiment have been collected and processed by each experiment in 2002 – 2007. Such an amount of data represents the unique challenge for experiments and requires the extensive use of computing facilities all over the world. The D0 and CDF experience in building successful computing models and making 2000 Terabytes of data available for the physics analyzes is presented as well as the future prospects to handle the upcoming 3 time increase of the available data set in the next 2 years.
