Abstract
The LHCb experiment is designed for flavor physics in the charm and beauty quark sectors, aiming to unveil indirect New Physics effects by means of precision measurements of CP-violation and rare decays of heavy hadrons. Hadrons containing c and b quarks are abundantly produced at the LHC, thanks to the large production cross sections, even at the reduced energy of the 2010-2011 LHC run. We will give a concise presentation of the LHCb CP-violation physics program, with some emphasis on the early measurements with heavy flavors.
