Abstract
We discuss the rotation of the linear polarization plane generated by a cosmological pseudoscalar field acting as dark matter. We compare the polarization power spectra obtained in the widely used approximation in which the linear polarization rotation angle is assumed constant along the line of sight and the exact result.
