Abstract
The MINOS experiment has been taking data since May 2005, and by February 2006 it had collected 1.27Ã1020 protons on target. A total of 215νμ charged current events were observed in the Far Detector. Analysis of these data shows consistency with the hypothesis of νμ neutrino oscillations, with |Îm232|=2.74â0.26+0.44Ã10â3 eV2 and sin2(2θ23)>0.87 (68% C.L.).
