Abstract
Decays of charmonium and charmed mesons provide a suitable environment in which to study the properties of light quark states. Using the approximately 25 million ψ(2S) decays collected with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring we present a precision measurement of the η mass and branching fractions and studies of spectroscopy in hadronic χc decay. Additionally we use 572 pb−1 of data collected at the ψ(3770) to perform an analysis of the resonant substructure in the D+→K−π+π+ decay channel.
