Abstract
We summarize the lessons learned from the theoretical and experimental studies of hard scattering phenomena in high-energy electron-proton (ep) collisions at electron-proton collider HERA and proton-antiproton () collisions at the Tevatron collider. Implications for the forward particle production at LHC and cosmic energies are discussed.
