Abstract
The ATLAS detector will fully exploit the large b-quark production rate which is expected from the LHC. The ATLAS Collaboration has performed studies of the likely potential of a full angular analysis of the decay. The observables depend on several parameters of physics interest, and the likely available data restrict fits to a subset of those interesting parameters. A measurement of the weak phase if it follows the standard model would be extemely challenging, but the same analysis would be sensitive to many standard model extensions.
