Abstract
⺠Contemporary nuclear physics questions explained. ⺠State of the art radiation detectors developed for the use in basic nuclear physics studies are introduced. ⺠Examples of detectors used by the NuSTAR collaboration for electromagnetic radiation and charge particles are explained.
