Abstract
The Kα3,4 satellites in Mg-Cl elements are measured a high-resolution double-spectrometer. Intensity ratio of the Kα3,4 satellites in these elements relative to the Kα1,2,3,4 emission lines are compared with those obtained theoretically by a sudden approximation. Moreover, the origin of the Kα3,4 satellites, especially, for Mg, Al, and Si could not be explained clearly by the contribution of the 1s2s→2s2p and 1s2p→(2p)2 spectator holes using GRASP2 code.
