Abstract
The Kα3,4 satellites in Mg-Cl elements are measured a high-resolution double-spectrometer. Intensity ratio of the Kα3,4 satellites in these elements relative to the Kα1,2,3,4 emission lines are compared with those obtained theoretically by a sudden approximation. Moreover, the origin of the Kα3,4 satellites, especially, for Mg, Al, and Si could not be explained clearly by the contribution of the 1s2sâ2s2p and 1s2pâ(2p)2 spectator holes using GRASP2 code.
