Abstract
Lifetime spectra were obtained for amorphous poly(aryl ether ether ketone) (PEEK), in the temperature range of (−170, +150) °C and were analysed by the standard multi-exponential model, and by the non-exponential blob model. The main results of this analysis are that the electron–ion recombination time in the blob τb≈20 ps, and that the formation of Positronium is a radiochemical process which mainly depends on the positron–electron reaction constant.
