Abstract
► Amidoesters AE-n MeOOC(CH2)nCONMe2 (n=0-3) react with excess electrons in glassy matrices. ► Delocalized AE-0 radical anion is stabilized independent of matrix polarity. ► Two types of AE-n radical anions were found for n=1-3 in polar media. ► Structure of radical anions and matrix effects agree qualitatively with quantum-chemical calculations
