Abstract
It has been reported by us that Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) can be cross-linked by various ways including a method that the polymer be irradiated in the melting state under no oxygen atmosphere. We have developed for the first time that the suitably irradiated PTFE could be directly formed for various purposes such as shrinkable tubing, stretching, extruding, and laminating under the molten state.
