Abstract
⺠Sol-gel synthesis method for an ORMOSIL material system described successfully. ⺠So-synthesised system processed with UV-irradiation. ⺠Structural, thermal, and mechanical properties characterised. ⺠Effects of synthesis/process parameters, in particular UV dose and Ti content identified comparatively. ⺠Potential suitability of this material system for use in dental restoration demonstrated.
