Abstract
Temperature dependence of internal friction and specific electric resistance of multi-layer carbon-armored epoxy-based composites is experimentally studied in the temperature range of 20-300 °C before and after irradiation with 2 MeV electrons. It is shown that carbon penetration into the polymer matrix causes intense polymer cross-linking in the basic layers of the composite even at low irradiation doses. The strong effect of dose rate on radiation-induced structural transformations was observed.
