Abstract
Intelligent drug delivery systems were constructed using UV polymerized and crosslinked hydrogels. A computer program was introduced and used in connection with the intelligent drug release system. The pH-, electro-field-, and small temperature difference-responsive releases of a model drug and the response to combinations of binary stimulative signals were investigated. It was proven that the drug release could be carried out effectively and accurately in response to the single and binary signal inputs.
