Abstract
Periodic wave solutions expressed by Jacobi elliptic functions for the (2Â +Â 1)-dimensional dispersive long water equations are obtained by using the extended F-expansion method. In the limit cases, the solitary wave solutions and the trigonometric function solutions for the equations are also obtained.
