Abstract
⺠In situ EDXRF measurements by means of a portable EDXRF spectrometer are made. ⺠Characteristic elements from original and restored areas are identified and compared. ⺠Lead based pigments are identified as main components of the reintegration pigments. ⺠The presence of cadmium red is compatible with a restoration later than 1910. ⺠Ca compounds in deep layers and Pb pigments in superficial layers are identified.
