Abstract
Experimental methods and data for positron and electron impact ionization are discussed. Examples of total, doubly, and triply differential studies are provided to illustrate what types of data have been obtained and how comparisons of the positron and electron results can be used to enhance our understanding of inelastic atomic processes.
