Abstract
⺠Candida albicans methionine synthase is a potential target for fungistatic agents. ⺠We were unable to crystallize the wild-type protein. ⺠We have crystallized the protein by mutating residues on a surface loop. ⺠The mutated residues are involved in crystal contacts. ⺠These crystal forms can be used in an ongoing program to study methionine synthase - small molecule interactions.
