Abstract
⺠The role of RGS coexpression for agonist-dependent relaxation of GIRK is re-examined. ⺠Agonist-dependent relaxation is found to be observed also in the absence of RGS. ⺠RGS coexpression speeds up the relaxation kinetics. ⺠The GPCR is likely the voltage-sensing component in agonist-dependent relaxation.
