Abstract
► The role of RGS coexpression for agonist-dependent relaxation of GIRK is re-examined. ► Agonist-dependent relaxation is found to be observed also in the absence of RGS. ► RGS coexpression speeds up the relaxation kinetics. ► The GPCR is likely the voltage-sensing component in agonist-dependent relaxation.
