Abstract
⺠SPK1 protein contains a conserved acetylation motif (the GK motif). ⺠Lysine acetylation is an important regulatory manner of SPK1 protein. ⺠SPK1 is regulated by p300/CBP acetyltransferases. ⺠We show that acetylated SPK1 controls cell growth and cell-cycle progression.
