Abstract
⺠Inhibiting the p38 pathway in resting microglia show no apoptotic indications. ⺠p38 pathway inhibition during inflammation indicates apoptosis. ⺠p38 inhibition during inflammation activates caspase-3 and c-Jun phosphorylation. ⺠Inhibiting the JNK pathway with or without LPS resulted in Annexin-V positive cells. ⺠JNK pathway inhibition results in phosphorylation of p38 and caspase-3 activation.
