Abstract
⺠The ld-gel phase transition of DOPC/DPPC phospholipid mixtures was studied in GUVs. ⺠Confocal fluorescence microscopy revealed gel phase patch and fibril domains. ⺠All tested fluorescent probes were excluded from patch domains. ⺠NBD-DPPE partitioned very strongly into fibril domains. ⺠No fibril domains were detected using Rh-DPPE, which affected probe partitioning.
