Abstract
⺠We investigate genetic factors affecting HDL in a CASTxB6 F2 mouse cross. ⺠Network analysis identifies gene co-expression modules associated with HDL. ⺠Studies across independent data sets confirm robustness of identified modules. ⺠Using meta-analysis techniques we identify genes consistently associated with HDL. ⺠Causal testing implicates Wfdc2 and Hdac3 as novel genes affecting HDL levels.
