Abstract
⺠The cytoskeleton effects lipid droplet formation and lipid mobilization. ⺠We employ cytoskeleton disrupting agents. ⺠Cytochalasin D alters cholesterol efflux to HDL. ⺠The cytoskeleton impacts on the size, composition and metabolism of lipid droplets. ⺠The cytoskeleton plays an integral role in lipid droplet metabolism.
