Abstract
► RhoGEF17 is the full-length version of p164RhoGEF. ► RhoGEF17 is phosphorylated by cGMP-dependent kinase Iα. ► Phosphorylation of S1331 and S43 is required for full activation of RhoGEF17. ► RhoGEF17-induced RhoA activation is controlled by a positive feedback loop via ROCK. ► RhoGEF17 switches the effect of cGKIα on RhoA activity from inhibition to stimulation.
