Abstract
► TFPI played an apoptosis-inducing role in VSMCs. ► TFPI might induce VSMCs apoptosis by inhibiting JAK-2/STAT-3 pathway phosphorylation. ► The down-regulation of survivin might be involved in TFPI induced apoptosis in VSMCs.
