Abstract
► In this study we examine the mitochondrial localization of GRK2. ► We identify two regions that possess the ability to localize in mitochondria. ► We study the oxidative ATP synthesis and the mitochondrial biogenesis. ► We demonstrate that GRK2 attenuates the loss of ATP after hypoxia/reperfusion. ► This study supports a positive role of GRK2 in bio-energetic pathway.
