Abstract
⺠In this study we examine the mitochondrial localization of GRK2. ⺠We identify two regions that possess the ability to localize in mitochondria. ⺠We study the oxidative ATP synthesis and the mitochondrial biogenesis. ⺠We demonstrate that GRK2 attenuates the loss of ATP after hypoxia/reperfusion. ⺠This study supports a positive role of GRK2 in bio-energetic pathway.
