Abstract
⺠The SELDI-TOF MS was firstly used to predict outcomes in patients with ACS. ⺠A 4174.39 m/z protein was associated with long-term outcomes in ACS. ⺠CK-MB and troponin T were only associated with short-term outcomes. ⺠The 4174.39 m/z protein provides additional prognostic value in ACS. ⺠The 4174.39 m/z protein may correspond to a member of the CXC chemokine family.
