Abstract
In conclusion, our results indicated that alcohol-induced liver damage or oxidative stress might be influenced by the genetic variation of ADH2 or ALDH2. Therefore, the combinations of different ADH2 and ALDH2 genotypes may be influential markers for susceptibility to alcohol-induced liver damage.
