Abstract
The ESR1 PvuII and XbaI gene polymorphisms seem to affect lipoprotein metabolism in healthy subjects of peak reproductive age. However, further studies are needed to determine the molecular mechanisms by which the two polymorphisms could influence serum lipid levels.
