Abstract
⺠Single-molecule measurements reveal the dynamics of large nucleoprotein complexes. ⺠New magnetic tweezers modalities facilitate measurements of DNA torque and twist. ⺠Experiments and theory have explored abrupt structural transitions in supercoiled DNA. ⺠Single-molecule mechanics is used to parameterize and test DNA nanotechnology models.
