Abstract
- Extraction of hot water-soluble polysaccharides (HWSPs) from Cymbopogon citratus.
- Response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction procedure.
- Ratio of dried plant powder to water, extraction time and temperature were discussed.
- The best extraction methods were 99.66 °C, 33.11 g/mL ratio of dried plant materials to water, and 113.81 min.
- In vitro biological activities were evaluated for HWSPs.
