Abstract
⺠Neutralization of endogenous BMP-6 by immunization reduced aldosterone production in vivo. ⺠Chronic Ang II treatment impaired the neutralization effect of BMP-6. ⺠Adrenal CYP11B2 expression and plasma aldosterone/corticosterone were reduced by blocking BMP-6. ⺠Endogenous BMP-6 is linked to aldosterone synthesis in the adrenal.
