Abstract
⺠Bufalin or prednisone effects on the ADR rats. ⺠The decrease of proteinuria with bufalin treatment occurred earlier than prednisone. ⺠Bufalin has advantages in optimising the level of serum TC and TG. ⺠Ultrastructurally, the foot process effacement and fusion of podocytes were improved. ⺠The anti-proteinuric mechanism: attenuate the glomerular filtration barrier damage.
