Abstract
With the temperature difference imposed on a granular assembly, the effective thermal conductivity (ETC) can be obtained from the simulation of a discrete element method considering the thermal resistance of rough contact surfaces. The numerical results indicate that the evolution of the ETC is a result of competition of particle size and volume fraction, etc
