Abstract
⺠Caveolin-1/eNOS interaction is essential preventing inadequate NO levels. ⺠Rosuvastatin treatment can afford protection against fibrosis induction during neonatal UUO. ⺠Interstitial fibrosis was associated with Cav-1 up-regulation, reduced NO levels and decreased eNOS/Hsp70 interaction. ⺠NO availability involves protein-protein interaction of up-regulated eNOS/Hsp70 and down-regulated caveolin-1.
