Abstract
► The CCKB receptor antagonist CI988 reduces food intake in fasted rats. ► This inhibition of food intake was completely abolished by pre-treatment with the dopamine D1 and D2 receptor antagonist flupentixol. ► CCKB signaling might be involved in the regulation of food intake after a fast in rats. ► This pathway seems to involve downstream dopamine signaling.
