Abstract
ⶠC-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) enhances adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 cells through a guanylyl cyclase-B/cGMP-dependent pathway. ⶠCNP mRNA level is transiently enhanced in early adipogenesis of 3T3-L1 cells. ⶠLipolysis in adipocytes derived from 3T3-L1 cells is not enhanced upon stimulation with natriuretic peptides.
