Abstract
ⶠThe high glucose induced increase in expression of NO, NOS and ET-1 were significantly attenuated by pretreatment with endomorphin1/endomorphin2. ⶠNaloxone, do not influence the mRNA eNOS expression when it is administrated alone; but it could significantly antagonize the effects induced by EM1/EM2. ⶠThese findings have revealed the molecular mechanism of endomorphins on protecting HUVECs from harmful conditions induced by high glucose.
