Abstract
ⶠNon-specific binding of NPY, PYY and PP is typically in 6:2:1 ratio. ⶠThis relates to acidic pairs with aspartate (2 in NPY, 1 in PYY, 0 in PP) and proline-13 in NPY. ⶠThe above should also be important in agonist selectivity of Y receptor subtypes. ⶠThe differences should also be important for partial agonism and cross-reactivity.
