Abstract
▶ The AM in the nasal discharge was significantly higher in the non-allergy group. ▶ AM-positive mast cells were found in the nasal mucosa. ▶ Reduction of AM may be associated with attenuation of immediate allergic responses. ▶ In the chronic phase, mast cells produce AM to inhibit inflammatory cell migration.
