Abstract
⺠PYY(3-36)-NH2 is significantly more potent than PYY(1-36)-NH2 in reducing food intake. ⺠Gly-extended forms of PYY are significantly less potent than non-extended forms. ⺠Ser13-phosphorylation decreases the anorexigenic potency of PYY(3-36)-NH2. ⺠Ser13-phosphorylation does not affect the anorexigenic potency of PYY(1-36)-NH2.
