Abstract
⺠Animal model to assess the relationship between adolescent and adult drug abuse. ⺠Discriminative stimuli of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) were assessed. ⺠Ovarian hormones (OVX) modified the effects of chronic THC in adolescent female rats. ⺠Adolescent OVX and chronic THC affected the molecular protein CREB, but not ERK. ⺠OVX and chronic THC differentially affected the striatum and hippocampus.
