Abstract
⺠The dentate gyrus histamine suppressed formalin pain. ⺠Histamine H1 and H2 receptor antagonists prevented histamine-induced antinociception. ⺠Blockade of histamine H3 receptor produced antinociception. ⺠Histamine H1, H2 and H3 receptors may be involved in the modulation of pain at the level of dentate gyrus.
