Abstract
⺠The present study assessed the long-term effects of adolescent alcohol exposure. ⺠Adolescent alcohol exposure reduced the aversive effects of cocaine in adult rats. ⺠Adolescent alcohol exposure altered cocaine-induced motor activity. ⺠Alcohol exposure in adult rats attenuated later cocaine aversions. ⺠Exposure to alcohol during adolescence may alter cocaine's abuse liability.
